Plans clearer for nearly 1,100 acres in Terrell purchased by Centurion American in late 2021

New documents filed with the City of Terrell’s Planning and Zoning Commission reveal more details for nearly 1,100 acres dubbed “Los Lomas,” a parcel acquired by Centurion American back in late 2021.

According to the documents, the Farmers Branch-based firm is planning eight phases of development for this tract of land, referred to as Arboretum Estates. 

Located southeast of Interstate 20, south of CR 305, west of FM 2578 and north of FM 987, renderings of the total development show 2,390 single family homes, which could include executive estates, on 584 acres; 35 acres of multifamily; 177 acres of industrial; 84 acres of retail or light industrial; 18 acres for school or civic purposes; 18 acres as an active open space and amenity center; and 136 acres of undevelopable land that will be used as open space and a nature preserve. Other amenities could include swimmings pools and a business center.
