Centurion American and Town of Flower Mound officials, along with residents, celebrated the grand opening of The River Walk at Central Park on Tuesday evening with live music and food trucks.
The River Walk is a 158-acre mixed-use development that integrates commercial, office, retail, dining, medical, civic and residential with 46.5 acres of parks and open spaces.
During the opening ceremony, Centurion American president and CEO Mehrdad Moayedi said he was working with Dallas restaurant developer Christopher Jeffers of Turn the Tables Hospitality to bring eateries along the River Walk.
Jeffers is behind such restaurants as SMOKE Plano, Chicken Scratch, The Foundry and Bar Belmont.
The River Walk is located north of FM 1171, west of Morriss Road and east of FM 2499.
